Anyone needing to visit the toilet when travelling in Holland, Belgium or France regularly comes in contact with 2theloo. The Dutch company wants to make going to the toilet an event when it comes to aesthetics, comfort and sustainability. 2theloo operates around 180 public toilets across Europe. The partnership with Geberit has existed since 2018.
“We need very efficient toilets and urinals,” says Chris Meijers, CEO at 2theloo. Geberit impressed the decision-makers at the company with its wealth of experience in public toilets. “The ONE toilets with TurboFlush and the Geberit urinals were exactly what we were looking for. They are sustainable and innovative.”
Geberit on hand to help during development
Armand Gademan, key account manager at Geberit in the Netherlands, is brought on board early. Workshops and product tests ultimately lead to the 2theloo standard facilities almost exclusively featuring Geberit products – from urinals, toilets and WCs for children through to shower channels, cisterns and taps.
Cleanliness and hygiene are important aspects for 2theloo. As a result, the taps are touchless and TurboFlush ensures a powerful flushing out, which means less cleaning is required. However, the appearance is also important – going to the toilet with 2theloo should have a touch of luxury.
Shower toilet at the Louvre
The next highlight: 2theloo installed AquaClean Sela shower toilets in public toilets underneath the Louvre in Paris for the first time. Armand Gademan: “An elegant shower toilet under the Louvre? A match made in heaven.”
