The building construction industry is booming in Saudi Arabia. With new offices – including a showroom and training centre – Geberit is making its mark in the capital Riyadh (SA).

The new Geberit headquarters in the Saudi capital Riyadh are only a few months old. The booming Gulf State is a strategically promising market for Geberit in light of numerous major construction projects. The new office with local staff, training centre and exhibition space ensures close links to potential customers. More than ten people are already working here, and this should grow to at least 25 in the next four years.

Tamer Qazi, Managing Director of the Geberit Gulf representative office, opens the new office in Riyadh.

Many major projects

Within Geberit, Saudi Arabia is part of the Geberit Gulf representative office based in Dubai. Its Managing Director Tamer Qazi says: “Over the long term, the office in Riyadh could even employ more staff than the one in Dubai.” Not least because the country – and its construction potential – is many times bigger. “This is underlined by strategic investments and ambitious projects connected to the Saudi Vision 2030 project,” says Tamer Qazi. This is in addition to important upcoming events in Saudi Arabia, such as the Asian Winter Games and the FIFA World Cup.

Some major projects are already completed or currently under construction. This includes the largest Pluvia project outside Europe to date at The Avenues Shopping Mall in Riyadh.
