A new packaging system at the logistics site in Lintorf (DE) is reducing the hard work for employees. The result is faster processing and more ergonomic working methods.

Lifting, labelling and stacking boxes: at the Geberit logistics site in Lintorf, the two robots Asterix and Obelix now automatically take care of what was once an arduous manual process – packaging ceramic appliances.

The two robot colleagues are a massive help to the workforce here. The employees no longer have to lift the 20-kilogram ceramic appliances by hand – now they only have to slide the appliance into the box and add the components.

Minimal effort is now required to slide the ceramic appliance into the packaging.
