Cooling systems are becoming increasingly important in residential and industrial buildings, including in zones with a temperate climate. Both temperature fluctuations in systems used for building and process cooling and damp screed result in a significant risk of corrosion on metal pipes.

The Mapress Therm piping system is installed in the same way as the tried-and-tested Mapress systems.

Keeping corrosion under control

The new Geberit Mapress Therm system eliminates these risks. It is made of low-alloy stainless steel, which is much cheaper than Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel while still being corrosion-resistant. Compared to copper, stainless steel also has a lower volatility in terms of price.

For technical building systems and industry

As a result, Mapress Therm is suitable for use both in cooling applications in technical building systems and also in industrial areas. In industrial applications, the system can be used for various other media. It is also suitable for heating systems in corrosive environments, such as in screed that is still damp.
