Fifty years of spare parts availability
Geberit now ensures 50 years of reliable flushes when using its concealed cisterns. What this means in practice can be experienced in Pfullendorf (DE).
Durability – a big plus
Geberit WC flushing systems are designed to last for a very long time. This is not only a sign of quality, but also helps the company to handle resources responsibly. If a cistern is easy to maintain and upgrade, it stays in use longer – this is good for both the environment and the customer.
Half a century! Geberit is extending the previous availability for spare parts in concealed cisterns from 25 to 50 years. The availability of flush valves and fill valves, for example, is constantly safeguarded during this period. “We are one of the few European sanitary manufacturers to have produced all the components of the concealed cistern in-house for over 50 years,” emphasises Thomas Kiffmeyer, Head of Product Line Installation Systems. “Our older models can be easily upgraded and their individual parts are easy to repair or replace.”
Half a century of models
Fifty years of spare parts availability is a great promise. This is backed up by a corresponding warehouse with cistern models and components from the last half century – and, above all, specialist expertise.
Among other places, this can be found in the Geberit Consulting Centre of the German sales company in Pfullendorf. Fourteen people work here – all trained plumbers, master plumbers, fire safety experts. They receive up to 1,000 enquiries per day. It is the largest Geberit Consulting Centre for sanitary specialists.

“That’s quality”
Jürgen Greiner, master plumber, has been advising customers since 2010. “There are models such as the UP 130 that I know inside out, including their article numbers,” he says with a grin. Approximately half of all enquiries relate to older models. “It’s a pleasure to see that our products have been in operation for so long,” says Jürgen Greiner. “That’s quality.”
