GRI 2-7, GRI 2-8 Composition of the workforce and further employees

At the end of 2023, the Geberit Group employed 10,947 staff worldwide (previous year 11,514 employees). This represents a decrease of 567 people or 4.9% compared to the previous year. This decrease was due to capacity adjustments in production and logistics to counteract the significant decline in volume, together with the reduction of activities in Russia. In contrast, additional employees were required in several markets outside Europe due to focused sales initiatives.
