The Salone del Mobile in Milan is the world’s largest and most important international furniture fair – and a crowd-puller. Over 260,000 professional architects and designers as well as interior design enthusiasts travelled to Italy from all over the world for the 60th edition of the fair. Around 2,200 exhibitors presented their latest innovations across the exhibition grounds.

Four hundred square metres of concentrated Geberit expertise

This includes the "House of Geberit" and its hard-working staff from international sales companies. Across 400 sqm, they guide visitors through the innovations of the bathroom series Geberit ONE, iCon, VariForm and others, demonstrate the functions of the Geberit AquaClean shower toilet, and proudly show the new ceramic appliances in the trendy colour white matt.

Back again at last

“After a break of three years, we were all looking forward to taking part in the Salone again and meeting the visitors. This is an ideal opportunity to exchange views with representatives from the international architecture and design scene,” explains Martin Baumüller, Head of Group Executive Area Marketing & Brands at Geberit.

The enthusiasm is tangible: in every corner of the booth, employees are deep in discussions with architecture and design professionals. Using the products on show, they can demonstrate perfectly why functional design is a big part of the future. The live demo eliminates any final doubts: it is clear that clever functions are just as much a part of good design as the overall look.
