When industry starts building, Geberit wants to be on the spot. The extensive product portfolio – particularly Mapress pipes – offers numerous possibilities for industrial applications. This business area is now seeing targeted expansion.

In Langenfeld, Germany, Thomas Sarrazin and his team at the Competence Centre Industry are working on expanding business with industrial piping systems. There are many possible applications here – from the automotive, pharmaceutical and food industries to plant engineering, in data centres or in shipbuilding. “In Europe in particular, there is still significant growth potential,” says Thomas Sarrazin.

Industrial requirements for piping go beyond what conventional supply systems can deliver. Not only drinking water flows here, but also compressed air, gases, oils, cooling water or chemicals. The right materials, advice and approvals are required here. “Our Mapress pipes are suitable for many of these needs,” says Thomas Sarrazin.

“Now it’s about passing on our expertise and providing the best possible support to colleagues in the various countries for industrial business,” says Thomas Sarrazin. This is how Geberit wants to strengthen its position in the global industrial segment and tap into additional market potential.
