Geberit oases at the World Ski Championships
Two Geberit WC oases offer guests in the VIP lounge at the World Ski Championships in Saalbach (AT) a high-quality WC experience.
The toilets at major events don’t have a very good reputation. However, guests in the VIP Champions Club at the 2025 World Ski Championships in Saalbach (AT) are able to enjoy two Geberit WC oases – temporary toilet facilities with equipment that is usually found in five-star hotels.
A good place to try things out
These oases make the smallest room into a big experience. Several AquaClean shower toilets, urinals, washbasins, taps and mirrors from Geberit ensure comfort. “We hope that many people try out the shower toilet,” says Peter Ernst, Sales Director Design and Exhibitions at the Geberit sales company in Austria.
The idea for the WC oases came about at a beach volleyball tournament. Peter Ernst sees the poor conditions in the toilets and suggests a trial using shower toilets. The mobile Geberit sanitary facilities are a big hit and are soon seen across Europe. In 2024, they are found at 14 events in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and the Benelux countries.
